The one class I would recommend doing at a B/M type school is a class in philosophy. I took Ethics, Asian, and Logic Philosophy courses in person. The latter 2 were worth every second of my personal time spent, including going to temples. That was my Arts and Letters choice. I highly recommend trying 1 of the 2 in person to anyone in need of these sorts of credits. They are the sort of rare classes that benefit from communicating in person.
Sorry that I don't have any advice to the credit race. Just personal experience of the very few in-person courses I ever felt were worth spending my life on.
