What's your opinion on MicroMasters programs?

I think one pro of an MM is that it'd be easy to persuade a business you work for to pay for simple training of complex need, since many of them readily pay for continuing education and task-related certificates already.

I would not be able to get my employer to pay for the MM unless there was no free option. They'd be paying just for the certification itself rather than the education, and that would be a no-no.
