I give you props, worked as a line cook briefly and it can be stressful. Anyway I know that Resort, its pretty nice, four stars I believe. Yea Sleeping Bear Dunes near Traverse city are amazing as well, pretty much that whole corner of the state around the Leelanau Peninsula is beautiful and can be a lot of fun. By the way its funny you mentioned "not running into Kid Rock," my dad years back actually did lol. He was at a car show in St. Ignace Michigan, randomly ended up talking to him there, he didnt really know who he was though(doesnt listen to his music). Apparently Kid Rock is really into classic cars.
