I thought I liked the West Virginia Board of Governors Associate of Applied Science degree too, until I started putting your credits in a degree plan. 
They give fewer credits for some exams (3 for Composition, Analyzing Lit) and don't accept others (Psych, Marketing). I am also fairly certain they would only accept their in-house PLA development for credit.
