Not-BLUE courses- free electives
My advice is not to earn any more credit until you've had an evaluation.
Once you've had an evaluation, you can use the tool in your TESU account to play with "what if" options.
Your list is approximately 50% transfer courses, and 50% non-transfer. The transfer courses will count no matter what degree you choose- that's not the issue.
The non transfer courses WILL transfer, but only as free electives to the 2 degrees you are considering (see exception below), so if you choose a degree that doesn't have slots for free electives, (or only has a small amount) those courses won't get used.
At TESU, it doesn't matter that you completed an associate degree elsewhere, they pull all of the credit out and re-place it into their distribution.
Communication: 27 free elective openings Thomas Edison State University: Communications *note, you already exceed 27 free electives
Marketing: 6 free elective openings BSBA in Marketing Degree Program *you really REALLY exceed 6 free electives
An idea- if you tried their art degree, it's possible that some of your free electives would actually be bumped into degree categories, meaning you might get to use all of your credit. This degree also only uses 27 free electives, but some of your classes would NOT be classified as free electives. I think it's worth getting an evaluation and then checking all 3 before you decide. Thank you for your comment. So, are you saying that even with 88 legit credits, I still may not be able to apply all of them to the Communications Degree? If so, TESU is definitely not as liberal as I thought. Also bummed to learn that they don't accept FEMA courses, as I've completed 6 additional credits through them as well.
