We've had people say they have to be awarded at the same time, that you have a year from paying the fee to get both done, and that no matter how long it takes, you don't have to pay a second waiver fee. If you get a favorable answer, be sure to get it in writing (an email will do).
Doing both at TESU makes a lot more sense if you don't have to pay the fee a second time, and I don't believe they intend to soak their students for the fee twice.
