COSC AS using FEMA for around $2000 Total
#10
She received the following reply from her COSC advisor:

I think the combination of HR and Organizational Leadership are good focus areas that complement each other. I believe your rationale is sound. I would pick a few courses in the HR and Org Leadership focus to incorporate into your rationale explaining how these courses will help meet your goals. This way, faculty can understand why you chose these particular courses.

The Bachelor of Science degree requires 60 total Liberal Arts credits. Currently you have earned 32 Liberal Arts credits. Organizational Behavior in the Concentration is a Liberal Arts course so the 3 credits will go towards the 60. This means that you will have to earn 25 Liberal Arts Elective credits to reach the 60 credits. FEMA courses are considered Non-Liberal Arts and so you will want to stay away from those courses. Please click onto the following link to view examples of Liberal Arts courses:

Liberal Arts Requirements. Liberal Arts credits can be completed in several disciplines including the Humanities, Social Sciences/History and ...

The Bachelor’s degree requires a minimum of 120 total credits. Currently you have earned 63 total credits. The Liberal Arts Electives will help you earn the minimum 120 total credits.

The Bachelor’s degree requires 30 Upper Level credits. Currently you have earned 3 UL credits (Educational PSY). I checked with the Registrar’s Office and MKT 301 from Penn Foster is LL. You will earn an additional 24 UL credits in the Concentration. This means that you will need to earn 3 UL Elective credits.
Please let me know if you would like to set up a phone appointment to discuss further.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
