Can't say I'm surprised but I had to try. This was dropped on us on on 3/21 and I immediately applied but of course it was too late to enroll by 4/1. The residency waiver adds significant costs to my plan. Some posts referenced TECEPs through the May term would count towards residency so I was hopeful. Like many, my plan was to wait until I had most everything done before applying and was hoping to do so before the usually catalog change date. This caught me by surprise. If I truly had a months notice I would have taken a TECEP to enroll and be grandfathered in but alas there was no warning this was coming.
