This information came in an apologetic email:
Since I will technically renroll next February in order to keep enrollment current, I will now only have to complete 16 credits to fulfill the residency requirement.
BUT, all of my past TECEP's will count towards residency, as well as the two I am already registered for. So, with the Capstone I will be well over the 16 credits needed for residency.
Seems like the best of both worlds and I confirmed in a follow up email.
At this point I just have to move forward and stop worrying. At least I have something in writing.
I was told the same thing today after contacting TESU again to confirm what I had been told last Friday about only needing a total of 16 credits from TESU to establish residency and that TECEPs would count through the May term only. I'm going to start focusing on gathering my materials and starting to study for my first exam.
