New TESU Residency Requirement!!! 16cr, TECEP's do not count?!?

This is the message I received from the Associate Registrar. I'm still trying to get clarification because the website says that we stay under the residency requirements of the catalog under which we enrolled.



I called the registrar's office, and she says that she's reading from the policy that currently enrolled students will not be grandfathered in. If they are not going to grandfather us in with the TECEPs and PLAs, then we should only have to meet the 16 credit residency requirement. The employee told me to email academicappeals@tesu.edu. I did tell them I would be filing a complaint with New Jersey's Higher Education Department for changing catalogs on enrolled students.

Wow, this is completely different than what others were told up thread. Consistent answers would be nice before I spend all that money on TECEPS. If I have to pay the residency fee so be it but if I can push through those TECEPs to avoid the fee that would be preferable. Hopefully a definitive answer will be provided before the registration deadline for May term.
