I'm taking the online version of LIB495, but the one guided study class I took still had a mentor, and he would be the one to help you pick a topic.
BTW, advice to anyone else planning to take the capstone at TESU. Choose the online version. The blog posts are easy-peasy and it counts for 23% of your grade. I got all 100% on all of them, so they were like free points. I will likely have a 70% in the whole class before I even turn in the final paper. Besides it was fun and helpful to see the topics the other students had picked.
