Much better reasons include babysitting, disability, test anxiety, living outside of the continental US, etc. Not taking tests will cost you a lot of time and money.
If you're not close to a test center, Straighterline, ALEKS, and Saylor are just as cheap or cheaper. I wouldn't spend money on a plane and cab if I could just take the MIS class for $300.
