(An Area of Focus is on the transcript and did seem to be from a set list.) I'm not sure how the AP depths were determined. There was some sort of rule about requesting to drop courses from your transcript within the first 30 days of enrollment, so they would not be included toward the degree. (Check the Student Policy Handbook.) You'll want to look into that part carefully and ask questions, too.
Thanks, I just spoke with an advisor which didn't really help much at all. I wound up explaining to him that an area of Focus will be on the transcript which he told me it wouldn't. I then explained to him that he should look at page 13 of the catalog which cleared a lot of confusion up for him. What remains a mystery is that he's not sure, if the Foreign Language credits will transfer in as Foreign Language...banghead He thinks if ACE doesn't transcribe them as German that they will simply not satisfy the FL requirement... So I don't know if I can petition them as German or leave it as FL. Either way is fine for me.
The next question continues to be quite ambiguous. I asked if I can create my own Focus or if they have a list of their own? He wasn't sure and put me on hold. I told him, that I'd like to have a Focus if possible for Investment Management, he said they may offer me Administrative Management. Again, not sure if I can propose my own, however in the catalog it says "List areas not exhaustive" on page 13. So am I able to propose my own or not??
His solution which is typical for individuals who really can't answer any questions is, apply, spend $100 and find out for yourself. :imwithstupid:
There are questions we were able to resolve (I hope), is he "feels confident" that I can drop certain courses I do not want to use towards my degree for Honors purposes within the initial evaluation.

He also feels confident that enrollment, capstone course, and graduation will only cost me $2150.00. Can anyone confirm this?
I would like to have a Foreign Language and Some sort of Investment/Economics/Not Business Admin. second Focus.
