I've never paid much attention to the pass rates. I've taken 114 credits of CLEP and DSST and scored high on tests with low pass rates and failed tests with high pass rates. For me it has been the amount of time spent studying material. I'm not a strong test taker, so I have always erred on the side of more studying, but some people ace these with just a few hours of studying. And make sure you have checked out the specific exam feedback - it is very helpful. If you've taken any of the psychology, management, or human development tests there was a lot of similar material. And you'll never know how ready you are until you take the test. Good luck!
