have you ever considered building your own ?
here's one that is more than capable of fulfilling your needs

it could be a great learning project for your kid
it's not that difficult to build a pc
I've only built 3 over the years, but it was very easy each time
I've only needed to build 3 because I get quality parts so they last a long time
building a pc is almost always MUCH cheaper than buying one
