The sacrifices and rituals were never for the gentiles. They were for the Jewish people. We are not required to keep them. Any "rule" we need to keep was repeated in the New Testament. We also have to be careful not to fall into a state of legalism because that can be a stumbling block for others.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.
