THIS. I am already in the field I want to be in, and a more specialized degree (even in a field I'm interested in) won't help much. I simply don't qualify for promotions because of my lack of a degree.
If I were to forgo the FHSU plan, and look to the liberal arts bachelor degree from TESC, would it be possible to finish what I need with a combo of TCEP, SL and FEMA? And maybe I can take some classes with my Pell grant at local CCs to save money as well.
One question that just came to mind... Does the credit you gain from taking either TCEPs, Clep, FEMA, SL etc count forwards credits earned at a 4 year school? I thought I read something about having to take a certain number of classes from a 4 year school...
