Saylor and TESC Gen Management degree
#3
I transferred Saylor's Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, and Corporate Communication a few months ago. I've also got the Business Statistics course approved on my degree plan, but haven't attempted it yet. I had them proctored at my public library. Details on an in-person proctor are available here: In-Person Proctoring Protocols | Saylor Academy Note the Proctor Responsibility Form, found at http://www.saylor.org/site/wp-content/up...y-form.pdf , which needs to be filled out and then faxed, emailed, or postal mailed to Saylor. Then you send in the Transcript Request form, and Saylor sends out your transcript. Saylor sent my transcript to TESC about a week after I mailed the Transcript Request form, so it was a pretty quick process.

The main thing is to make sure that you're only taking the for-credit exams. Saylor has lots of courses, most of which are not for-credit, some of which are study prep for third-party exams, and a few of which are for-credit by themselves. The courses here Earn College Credit | Saylor Academy under the ACE recommended or NCCRS recommended. Any ACE courses would be done through the ACE transcripting service. The NCCRS courses send the transcript directly to the college themselves. There are multiple options for the final, a "practice" final and then the actual for-credit one. The for-credit one requires your proctor to enter in a password that Saylor gives them, so you can't access it in advance. The questions for the exams I took were not identical to the questions on the practice final or to the questions on the unit assessments.

Also, study the materials that Saylor provides. Some of the questions were very specific to the study content in their courses.
