Glad to hear you are getting that Knee sorted out Sweet! Hope you recover soon and get back on stage once again.

I probably won't be going back on-stage any time soon. The doctor is still pretty sure that the right meniscus is torn as well, and in the mean time I hurt my back trying to compensate for my knees. I was in physical therapy for my back, but the insurance will only cover one thing at a time. So when the doctor gives me the "okay", I will be doing physical therapy for the first knee while waiting to see if the second heals on its own. One PT on the first knee is finished, I'll probably finish PT on my back. At that point will see if the second knee needs surgery or not. I've put on 50 lbs since being off-stage though, so I'd had to really drop the weight in order to go back on-stage... if the doctor even thinks I should. The good news though is that even though I don't qualify for unemployment (I was a 1099 contractor), I do qualify for the "work opportunity tax credit" through the department of vocational rehabilitation (DVR). As a matter of fact, DVR actually has placed me with a job developer, who gets paid $1,300 if she can find me a reasonable position... which is really great. I did actually turn down a job a few weeks ago that would have been a great opportunity, as an executive director for a non-profit... the board president was just incredibly rude. I feel like I'm finally making progress though, and I am working a small 10hr a week job doing marketing for a substance abuse rehab center. There are days where I do miss the stage though.
