Maybe list the few you've spoken with who supported your position and hopefully they can reassign you to one of them. I wouldn't trust someone like your current advisor with handling my degree audit and certification. You'd probably end up with a last minute surprise. Many students have found themselves excited, expecting to receive their diplomas only to be told, last minute, they didn't meet all the degree requirements. I just think it's best, especially if you already know you have a possible slacker, to demand a competent advisor. We live an we learn!
That has already happened, which is why I'm in this position. LOL
When I first enrolled and emailed my advisor the beginning of this year she made the mistake thats currently on my transcripts now, after emailing her she changed all my credits to being from Florida State College at Jacksonville. However, after my degree audit my credits went back to being split between community college vs. state college credits, she also removed exam credits from my degree that she had approved, which I took based on her approval, when it came to my degree audit. Thank God I had extra credits, to satisfy my degree requirements! This has all really left a bad taste in my mouth about advisors. Thank God, I have emails copies of everything, which I sent her showing that she removed credits that she approved, which she stated would satisfy degree requirements, along with her apologizing for the name change error early this year; its been a week and she has yet to respond. :roflol:

I may have confused him with my NA to RA example, but it was just an example of how what the school is when you attend is what it is. If you're classes come from a 2 year school, and then later from a 4 year school, the fact that they occupy the same piece of real estate is moot.
I understand your point; but on my transcripts the credits are not listed as community college credits, after speaking with the registrar at the college, I was informed that such should be projected as state college credits; as they don't understand why Excelsior would spilt such.
