Picking courses to fit requirements

I submitted a ticket and I received this reply when asking to move my Cultural Diversity course

World Religions is a humanities and Cultural Diversity is a social science therefore I cannot more it world religions to social science.

I'm pretty sure this woman doesn't know what she's talking about based on other responses she gave to other questions, but wanted to check here before I push further on this issue.

Whoever answered this ticket was obviously confused by what you were asking. Regardless, this request would best be handled by a 30min advising appointment. They have flexible hours, you could even set it up over your lunch break. (The appts are only allotted 30 mins, if you think you need more time, find an available 1hr block and set up two appts with the same advisor to cover the hour.) This way you could explain your request(s) thoroughly and at the same time, if you wanted, add any courses/exams you are currently taking or will take to your academic evaluation as planned credit (PL).

Remember, not all advisors are cut from the same cloth. Most importantly, it takes time to acclimate yourself to academic lingo, school policy and procedures.
