Sorry, I have no idea where you can find the courses at a cheaper rate. You would have to research that yourself. I just included a general note because it is TESCs policy to allow outside courses to be transferred in, of course at this level it would have to be from a 4yr university.
If by science degree you mean BA Natural Science & Mathematics, that is a much more common degree here on the forum, just do a quick search. If Biology or Computer Science, you will find some additional upper level exams available via UExcel/ECE/TECEP. But ultimately I think you may still find yourself searching out courses to meet the 18CR UL requirement in the area of study. After researchng the degrees of interest you may find other options.
