My wife just started US History and did poorly on the first quiz. She read the material but didn't spend enough time on it. From what she says, skimming might not work for everyone. Test banks often have questions that can only be answered after reading the textbook. One example I like to share is a question from a Cengage test bank for an computer course. The question asked....
