It might say that 90 credits is all that is required, but you will be competing with bachelors degree holders with high GPAs who cannot find work in this economy. 120 credits and a degree trumps 90 credits and no degree.
If you haven't already I would call your local Army recruiter and talk to someone who specializes in ROTC/OCS.

If you really want to serve, try enlisting. If being an officer is a must for you, 90 credits may not get you in, heck a Liberal Arts degreee from TESC may not be enough. I know the Air Force stopped the enlisted to officer programs (they kept it open only for people with certain degrees which were the technical type, engineering, nursing, etc.). It doesn't mean there is no guarantee, but speak with your recruiter and find out what packages are being accepted and adjust accordingly. Thanks for choosing to serve, and good luck with your package, I wish you the best.
Thanks for those words of advice, I hadn't considered that a workforce flooded with unemployed degree-holders would result in a lot of people competing for OCS, but that does make sense. My recruiter seemed to think that as long as I qualified then getting into OCS would not be difficult, he said that 90% of people that he talks to either don't qualify or have no desire to be an officer. That all being said I'll be certainto do all my research ahead of time and make sure all the details are nailed down. If I have to finish the degree before going into OCS or even take another year and get another degree (Organizational Leadership sounds appealing) then so be it.
