ALEKS and ACE question.

so if I took an initial assessment and it says I know 170 out of 311 topics?? do I just have to get 70 percent of my pie filled blue to pass?????? If you get a few questions right it bumps your pie 1% but that doesn't seem right. Do you have to redo an assessment tes??I don't see a lot of instruction on this site. Also it gave me 2 log ins. one as a master and the other as a student. its a little confusing.. anyone? anyone? bueller? bueller???????

My understanding (and how I completed two ALEKS courses) was that you must test at 70%. Filling the progress bar beyond that doesn't count for transferring out the 70% needed. If you gain a few points and wish to retest then you login to the master account and click on something like "request an exam". You'll have to search around the master account settings to find it (I don't remember where it is exactly but it is there). The progress you've made will eventually trigger a new exam which would also allow for the 70% to be reached but that might take a while to trigger.
