One final update I got this e-mail this morning. Dear Linda:
Thank you for your interest in L Tech and taking the time to interview with us last week.
Though at this time we are moving forward with another candidate.
If anything changes, I will contact you directly.
Thank you again,
So I was finally ready to get a full time job. Now it is not going to happen. I have mixed feelings about this. The timing was bad I really didn't want to give up the last of summer, but my ego is unhappy I thought I had this. I am a little surprised by the last line. Does that mean they are making an offer and if that person doesn't accept or pass the background test I might still be in the running? Well anyway it was a good interview, good practice for the next one and I learned a lot about the company so there may be another chance with them sometime in the future.
Thank you all for the support and well wishes.
