It doesn't change the fact that Netflix does not have Argo, Skyfall, Lincoln, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Zero Dark Thirty, and dozens of other critically-acclaimed movies from last year.

Streaming yeah, but all of those movies are available from Netflix's DVD rental. Remember they split the business into separate plans, so you can have streaming or DVD rental or both. Sounds like you only have a Netflix streaming plan. If you had a DVD plan too you'd be set.
