For the whole area of study (33 semester hours), you can use a maximum of 6 credits at the 100-level. The rest must be 200-level or above, not upper level. Only 18 credits have to be UL (300/400) and the required capstone counts toward that unless you enrolled before the capstone was required.

Edit: I guess I could be clearer. Sections A and B are the area of study. TESC usually uses Section B to dump the 100-level credits, but they don't have to be 100-level. Just think of both sections as one. Once you place SOS 101/102 in the area of study, you have no more room for 100-level credits. The rules listed in Section A apply to the whole area of study.
