:hurray:
Here is the email:
With the lists you submitted, keep in mind that courses in transfer do not always equate at the same level as the institution from which they originated.
Colorado State University
HIST-311 equates to our HIS-346, American Diplomatic History II
HIST-414 equates to HIS-235, so will not qualify as an upper-level history course.
Louisiana State University
HIST-4130 equates to our HIS-357, World War II
HIST-4140 equates to our HIS-351, The Vietnam War
HIST-4051 and HIST-4052 both equate to 200-level courses, so they will not qualify as upper-level history courses
Brigham Young University
Four of these can clearly be identified identified as upper-level history courses:
HIST-302 - The Italian Renaissance (HIS-399 equivalency)
HIST-304 - The Expansion of Europe, 1400-1800 (HIS-399 equivalency)
HIST-340 - Traditional China (HIS-326, East Asian Civilization II)
HIST-341 China Since 1200 (HIS-325 - East Asian Civilization I)
I have asked the dean's office for an opinion on the balance of the courses you submitted and will add this information once I receive it.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your wonderful advice and help! Y'all are the best!!!
