FREE Resources for Newbies/Newer members/Homeschoolers

jenniferhc Wrote:My daughter is an occasional lurker here, and she just stumbled across this while checking links for me and said, "Hey, Mom! Somebody's talking about you on the InstantCert forum." I started to reply under her username and then thought I'd better just register myself. So... no, technically these sites aren't run by someone from this forum, as I've only just created an account.

Hmmmm. You know what? Having just said and done all that, I think I might have had an account here a few years ago. Eeek. Sorry for not investigating that further before creating a new one!

My actual point in posting a reply is that I wanted to let you know I decided to combine Homeschool College USA and The University of You into one big site that covers all the info from both. I was going to have to redo The U of U extensively in any case because all the sample plans are pre-LEAP as far as TESC's general education requirements go. They will need reworking once we know exactly what will be required.

Once the site is finished (It's about halfway there), I'll redirect The U of U's URL to the new HC USA, so regardless of what someone enters, they'll wind up in the same place. Thank you, IrishJohn, for posting the link on the wiki page and thanks, HorseManiac, too, for promoting the sites here.

You're welcome!! When I stumbled across your links, they looked really helpful so I thought others might benefit! Thanks for letting us know about the redesigning of the sites!!
