About a third of those with associates degrees are earning more than all of those with bachelor's degrees. They are basically comparing those with technical, terminal associates with everyone with a bachelor's including those with humanities and social science degrees that don't pay much. So, yes, someone with an associates in networking or sonography is going to make more than someone with a degree in English who decided not to go into teaching. Overtime, however, those with bachelor's degrees will make more because they will see more raises and promotions than those with associates degrees. Most in the allied health fields will hit a ceiling in their earning potential and career advancement.
