I think you may have some bad info Can219. CLEP and DSST have always been proctored at test centers, and Proctor U doesn't work that way.
The $185/$80 fees should only apply to civilians. Both the CLEP and DSST should be free for your first attempt if you are active duty. No idea where you
are in Korea, but there is a test center listed for Camp Casey. Test Center Search | CLEP
"DANTES funds CLEP exams (one attempt per title) for the following groups:
Military personnel (active duty, reserve, National Guard): Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, Army Reserve, Air Force Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Navy Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, Army and Air National Guard
Spouses and civilian employees of: Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard, Army National Guard, Army Reserve, Coast Guard (active and reserve)"

You really need to talk to someone at the test center to make sure you aren't paying for nothing.
