It is likely to see gas rise to $4.00 this summer. However, even that is not too bad considering what european and asian countries have to pay for gasoline.
Also what people do not realize is even though in 1981 gasoline cost 1.35 a gallon and factoring inflation in it is $3.13 a gallon. And Americans earn A LOT more now than they did in the early 1980's, so what people spend now on gas is only half of what it used to be!!!
