Smart started like in the 1990's. Those having got out of the military prior to like 1995 or something like that would have to submit information to have it installed in the Sailor/Marine American Council on Education Registry Transcript (SMART) system. I got out of the Marines in 1988. (Total six year obligation then, and active 82-85 with 3 years in IRR.) No such thing happening when I was in.
Therefore, I submitted information to construct a record of my education while I was in the military. That included my military evaluated training for credits that Ace recommended, plus my Associates of Arts I got while in. 1982-88. I cannot submit airline training received some 8 years later to the present to SMARTS. Maybe I should try, however, company training is not ACE evaluated. My FAA license is. Maybe I should ask SMARTS if they can somehow submit it into that just because. Maybe they can tweek a minor adjustment. What say you?
