I have an update on this! I was looking in the 2012-2013 catalog and noticed that the Civil War DSST was not listed. I called the admissions office and was told that THIS IS CORRECT!! TESC is no longer accepting the Civil War and Reconstruction DSST. Thankfully, it doesn't affect my degree plan too much, but it's still a bummer. I just took this test in April too! 
They guy on the phone said he didn't know why they weren't taking it any longer. I had sent an email before I called so I'm waiting to hear if I get the same response from my email. Just a heads up to everyone!!
