TESC did horrible on final - can I still pass class?

It will depend on the weight of the final in your overall course grade. Some instructors weight a final like a regular exam, some will weight it as two or three exam grades, other schools will mandate that the mid-term and final equate to 50% of the overall course grade. I know one instructor that bases your overall course grade on just your midterm and final, so 50% each. It will depend on the school and instructor policy which you should find in your syllabus.
