I have also heard it was easier, but didn't have much luck with the practice exams. I ultimately chose Humanities because of my passions for music, which I heard was a good chunk of the exam. Is that accurate?
I was in the same boat; I needed five credits to finish off my humanities requirement at Excelsior and was planning on taking the Humanities CLEP. I saw someone mention the relative ease of A&I Literature, made an appointment, and took the test last week cold with no prep whatsoever. I walked out with a 73 and I can't imagine getting a better result with the Humanities test.
