The first thing that made me happy on the DSST tests was the change to four options instead of five for answer choices like CLEP uses. Other than that I'd say the other benefits include:
-Not having to skip past things like "how to use a mouse"
-Ability to see all of your scores online from home
Downside:
-The only one I've seen is they are $3 more than CLEP, and that isn't even worth talking about
I do agree with what others have said about the questions being weird. I've found spelling and grammar errors on some of my tests that make the question hard to understand. Make sure you know the school code for your school before you test as it will simply ask you to enter the code and doesn't offer the same interactive list CLEP has. Good Luck, I'm sure you'll enjoy DSST just like CLEP.

My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
