HELP!!!! TESC to EXCELSIOR DEGREE HELP
#1
HELP!!!!!! I am so confused and am hoping somebody here can help me. It all started several years ago when I applied and enrolled at TESC for a BSHS. At that time, they gave me an evaluation and a degree plan with 83 credits accepted. I recently re-applied because there was a change in the Math requirement (I was saving that for last) and I wanted to make sure I was still on the right track. When I got my evaluation, I was SHOCKED to discover they now would only accept 54 credits - citing due to a change in the program, they were no longer accepting "theory" courses. I requested that they rework my evaluation into another degree program, as well as re-evaluation of some courses I thought should be accepted; they told me they would get back to me. No one ever did. So, I decided that they must not need my business and applied to Excelsior. This is the preliminary evaluation I received:

NEED 13.50 - LL ARTS & SCIENCE
NEED 21.00 - UL ARTS & SCIENCE
NEED 9 - UL IN ANY ACADEMIC AREA

The breakdown is as follows:

Humanities - 4.5
Natural Science/Math - 1
Quantitive Requirement - 2
Natural Science Requirement - 3
Information Literacy - 1
Capstone Course - 3

UPPER LEVEL DEPTH (ARTS & SCIENCE) - 3
LOWER LEVEL DEPTH (ARTS & SCIENCE) - 9

UPPER LEVEL DEPTH (ANY ACEDEMIC AREA) - 3
LOWER LEVEL DEPT (ANY ACADEMIC AREA) - 9

MAJOR OPTION - PSYCOLOGY - NEED 15 UPPER & 12 LOWER
IB - Statistics -
IC - Research Methods (ECE - Research methods in psy -- planned)
ID - History and Systems (must take class!!!!!)
IE - Research and Writing (must take class???)

IIA - Biospychology/Physiologival Psychology (must take class!!!!!)
IIB - Developmental Perspectives (ECE - Psychology of Adulthood -- planned)
IIC - Social Influences (ECE - Social Psychology - planned)
IID - Abnormal Psychology (ECE - planned)
IIE - Cognitive Bases - ????

Also, there are some classes I have taken that Excelsior did not include in their evaluation because I didn't send them a transcript.
1. American Civil War - TESC class
2. Organizational Behavior - DSST

The following classes were excluded, but stated that the course content would be reviewed upon enrollment.
PERSPECTIVE DRAWING - 1.5
AESTHETICS OF DRAWING - 2
CRIMINAL LAW & PROCEDURES - 4
FAMILY LAW - 3
INTRO INTO DATA PROCESSING (they stated was a duplicate, but when I questioned it, admitted that they made a mistake and are in the process of re-evaluating this).

Sorry for the long-winded explanation. But, I am really overwhelmed looking at this. Can someone help me plan this out, so I can decide whether it is worth pursuing this degree. Although the took 77 approximately credits - which will be 83 with the additional classes I took (or possibly more if they reconsider the excluded ones) ----- I still feel that I'm left with most of the substantial work to do - --- I was hoping to test out of whatever was left. I don't need the Bachelor's to be in any specific area - I just need it. Any thoughts???? Thanks for all your help!!
