TESC has a liberal studies program and does not require a capstone. TESC is also more liberal when it comes to accepting lower level courses as upper level and requires less upper level credits overall. Also like Ryoder said, you can do "what if" scenarios with TESC's Online Student Services. You might have enough credits to complete or be close to completing several different degree programs. I don't know how often Excelsior confers degrees, but TESC only does conferrals every 3 months and you have to have your application in 2 months before the graduation date. I don't know if that would be an issue for you. I finished all of my requirements in August, but I won't graduate until December.
It's been about 17 years since I obtained IT-related credits. I do have *some* within the last year or so, but they're very few (around 6?). If I'm not mistaken, there's a 10-year limit on the transfer of IT-related credits. I understand a person could petition the old IT credits but not without a cost per credit. So, that's my reason for looking into a Liberal Arts program. I read on another forum that might be a good way to get the job done.
