All the gun talk is interesting on the IC forum. I guess people that take charge of their education are the take charge type in other facets of life as well. Florida does pop you $55 for three years of concealed carry...but its a shall issue state!

I'm unhappy about the increase in auto tag renewal down here... a year or so ago it was about $35 a year. 2 weeks ago I paid a whopping $88. Crazy!

I should post a picture of my closet/safe/gunroom. There is a copy of my three college diplomas hanging on top of my guns. The Military Police look at me funny when they print out the gun registration list of all my guns every time I register a new one on base. What can I say, I love to shoot at the range, my daughter loves it, and we do it for hunting season and for sport/recreation. But gun safety is a MUST and she is all over it at 8 years old. Her curiosity about guns is gone. I'll be taking her to shoot her first deer when I go home on R&R. My next gun is a Marlin Model 1895 in 45-70 .cal in case anyone is wondering.

But back to the license plate registration, I think in Texas they are $75-ish a year, along with the $14 yearly vehicle inspection sticker we have to get.
