ALEKS to CCAF

That's 100% correct. CCAF will NOT accept ANY General Education credits through ACE. This was confirmed by a SSgt (CCAF insider) who works at the CCAF in good ol Montgomery, Alabama. Most of this thread has my experiences with the process and is meant to help others NOT make the same mistake.

For those who are new and considering ALEKS to CCAF, I implore you to explore the SL route. I've read a recent article on the forums stating SL will no longer allow the SL->FHSU credit wash, so it's best to check with the other SL partner schools that will both allow it and is accepted by the CCAF. I apologize for the little time-skip with the progress, but to summarize, CCAF did not take ALEKS on the Ace Transcript. Afterwards, I tried going the ALEKS-> FHSU route and the credits were deemed nontransferable. Next, I had the ALEKS classes credit-banked at TESC and then transferred to the CCAF ($250) and that didn't work! Finally, I decided to embark on the SL->FHSU -> CCAF journey and it worked like a charm. I really hope this thread helps people in the future. A follow up question, was there a reason to not try SL-->CCAF first before running through FHSU? Just curious.
