Hello All,
I'm scheduled to take the DSST on the 21st of April, I'm AD military so I'm taking it for free. I was wondering what people thought about the test, generally speak, how hard was it for you? I passed 3 Peterson DSST Practice tests with atleast a 60. Is that good enough for the real deal?

You are ready right now, go take it!!! With a 60 you'll do fine. I took CLEP Principles of Management this one. I mostly used practice tests to prepare for it. Since the subject is very similar, if you take one take the other. No exam is easy, but if you feel you're prepared and are comfortable with the material, go for it. If you can reschedule your exam, do it. There is a peak in studying for a subject.

That test is a joke... common sense should be enough to pass in my opinion.

I would have taken it today but all tests schedule dates were full, so I have to take it on the 21st. I felt it was really easy when I was taking the Peterson Practice tests but I just thought i'd ask because the actual test can always be harder.
Any way, I think I'll take the other one about management shortly after I take principles of supervision.

Since you have about two weeks until you test, study management while you're at it. Take them both on the same day. They'll reinforce each other, IMHO. Double testing on these subjects won't be that hard. I say go for it. After all, as a law abiding citizen whole pays you to serve and lets you take these test for free, I say, just go do it. If I ever did it again, I'd be more aggressive in my testing. Good luck =)

The suggestion above is very good, as far as studying them together because of the cross over of information. If you are not comfortable with taking 2 tests in 1 day, just schedule the other for the day after.
Make sure to check the forums, because there are often those that make sense to study together or else in a specific sequence because the material may build upon what you studied previously.
Lots of information here - make sure to check for Specific Exam Feedback regularly.
Happy studying!

Study mgmt, supervision and organizational behavior all at the same time and you will be an expert!
Those three have a lot of overlap.
There is also some overlap into psychology and business law.
