It sounds like you could
teach a class on how to succeed and manage time

I didn't answer your question fully. I am not doing any work on this while at work. I am writing papers on weekends, doing some editing and reading in the mornings and at night. Some days I do nothing. Friday nights I do nothing for sure.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing about time management!
The secret to time management is to keep your eye on the ball, focus on one thing for many hours at a time, eliminate distractions.
I go into the spare bedroom that has a reclining couch, shut the door and start writing.

That class does sound like mine. I bet you could fly through this one after taking that ethics class.
The overall program can be found at
Northcentral University | Online Degree Programs | Online Learning on their course catalog page but here are some basics:
MBA core (6 classes)
BTM5000 Foundations for Graduate Study in Business (personal time manamgement BS course)
MGT5019 Business Ethics (I'm taking this)
SKS5000 Strategic Knowledge Studies (review of undergrad business)
MGT5031 The History of Management Theory
MGT5028 Business Statistics
HRM5000 Human Resource Management
Then you take 6 more electives to get a general MBA or 6 electives and a capstone to get a concentration in MIS, Computer Science, Management etc. They have a lot of concentrations available.
This school is not cheap at 1850 per class. But you complete at your own pace which for me is super fast since I am only taking one class and business ethics is pretty simple in my opinion.
rebel100 Wrote:Sounds like a lot of writing !!! My UL Ethics class at CSU sounds similiar. 10 2-3 page papers with an 11th that is 8-10 pages APA format.
What school is NCU? What is the overall program? I would like to hear some details, very interested in a self paced masters at some point.

Yes, I know how that goes
My Friday night have been pretty much full of CLEP/DSST study for months.
Lol.. last night was the first Friday night in a very long time that I didn't have anything to study. I finished up my COSC homework and quiz and felt lost. It was nice just to hang out with DH and not each have a computer on our laps, though as you know, my DH still has a lot to study... he's just taking his sweet time. He's on the one-test-a-month (or three) plan.

I have been writing my final paper today from 7 am till 10pm with breaks of course for lunch and dinner and some tv.
This is a 13 page paper about the Duke Lacrosse team and how they were framed for the personal gain of the district attorney who is now disbarred and being sued along with the university, the police department and the dna lab who withheld evidence that would have proved their innocence early on.
its truly interesting material that I probably would have researched just for fun anyway.
Now its time for xbox!

Thanks. Yes I do work hard and consistently when I'm totally invested in something.
My intent with this post is to inspire and chronicle my journey and not to boast.
I'll start a new post when I start my second class. It also helps me to stay on task. I don't think I'll actually complete in 3 weeks. It could be four weeks but it helps to make a bold statement like that to keep me motivated to make good on it.

Paper 8 graded at 98%.
I'll proofread paper 9 tomorrow morning and upload it for grading.
Paper 11 is now at 12 pages, 1 more to go plus significant revision and proofreading prior to uploading for a grade.
