Does anyone have a exam schedule to complete the business core requirements for BSBA at TESC? I'm looking for the easiest exams possible. Thanks!

Principles of Managerial Accounting (3)

I dunno if you still need this but Marketing and Management are two of the easiest clep tests. Financial Accounting isn't terrible either. I think B Law would be easier than accounting but I'm not taking that clep so I don't know.

Business Law (3) CLEP Intro to Business Law
Introduction to Computers/ (3) CLEP Information Systems and Computer Applications
Principles of Financial Accounting (3) CLEP Financial Accounting
Principles of Managerial Accounting (3) No test available...Take Straighterline or Penn Foster self paced course.
Business Finance (3) DSST Principles of Finance
Introduction to Marketing (3) CLEP Principles of Marketing
Business in Society or International Management (3) DSST NEW Business Ethics & Society
Business Policy (3) TECEP Business Policy

Also for the other Business prerequisites:

Like previous poster wrote, get your feet wet by taking the easier Marketing and Management CLEP's first. InstaCert is excellent for business courses, supplement concepts here NetMBA Business Knowledge Center

Good luck!!!

I believe it's required that you take this course directly from TESC. At least that's the way it is on my BSBA template.

You can also take Business Communications from Straighterline.

That is my understanding as well. My BSOL degree required business or managerial communications also, and I ended up taking it from a Comm. college, as my research proved no CLEP/DSST would satisfy the requirement.

I did straighter line biz comm and both accounting classes. I would super highly recommend doing straighter line instead of the clep test because of cost and once you understand the test format you will kick butt on all the tests.
Basically you need to learn financial accounting basics and then when it comes time to take the online tests, you have the book as a resource. Most of the questions can be answered via the glossary or by finding a statement in the body of the text so you need to quickly locate the relevant section, scan for the answer and move to the next question.
Biz comm is the same way. Plus you have to write three docs. One is an email another is a resume and cover letter and the final doc is a short report in mla format. I got a 90.4 in this class and probably could have gotten a 96 if i had spent more time instead of flying through as fast as i could.

I agree with Ryoder, the straighterline courses are much better cost and time-wise than cleps and there's no risk of failing a clep and waiting 6 months to retest.
