Do i need to know the DSM Chart for Mental Disorders?
I have my exam on Saturday and feel very unprepared.
Thanks,

Yes. I took the test in October, and there were several questions about the disorders, and where they are on which axis of the DSM. Good Luck!! This was not the hardest EC test I have taken, but it was not the easiest either.

Did you take the Excelsior sample exam for the subject? That could make a difference...

If you did well on the EC practice exams, you should do well on the actual exam. The test is very straight-forward. Good Luck!!!!!

Took the exam this morning..passed with a B.Thanks a bunch for your advice and good luck wishes.
During the exam i felt like i am doing great and will end up with an A as i knew a lot of answers...but am happy i have passed and can move on to the next one.
The exam was not difficult at all and it was pretty straightforward.Instantcert's guide is excellent for the exam but the 2 practice exams are also a must.
I used Instantcert and GRE Psychology's chapter on Abnormal Psychology(just read it once-it's only 15 pages) and the 2 practice exams and studied on and off for a week.
I have a low GPA of 2.75 at Excelsior because of my old engineering credits and need to bring it up to at least 3.0.The problem is i have only 6/7 exams remaining.
I am not able to buckle up and really concentrate on studying until the last 3/4 days before any exam and pay a price for that.
Next is Research Methods in Psychology.
Thanks again,
Adoncia
