So, am I the only one here who is really wanting an IC app for iPods/iPhones? I would
really use it, if only to have another way to study that's not in front of my computer.
Just an idea.

A mobile app would be great... I've tried using Instantcert on my mobile phone browser. It works ok, except having to scroll the screen around up and down and side to side to read everything and clicking 'next' (assuming you have a data plan or wifi available where you go).
Even if the flashcards could be optimized for mobile that would help a lot. Being able to read everything without having to scroll side-to-side. Of course an actual app would be even better.

It works great on an ipod and decently on a blackberry.

I've used it on my iPod before, but it's somewhat difficult to maneuver, or maybe I'm just not very good at it. I downloaded an app for Western Civ a while back, and, while not particularly helpful for the test, I thought the format wasn't bad. I was suggesting (<sarcasm>because I know the folks at IC have nothing better to do</sarcasm>) that an app be created that would be primarily, maybe even only, for the flashcards. While I'm certainly nowhere near knowing what I'm talking about here, I think it wouldn't be too difficult to create something that would be optimal for that. I, for one, would be willing to pay for such an app (within reason, of course).

It seems like I posted on a thread about this recently...
I do use it on my iPhone when I have to. No, I really don't like it because it's slow. It's easier for me to read an article about a topic, such as a wikipedia article.
I would pay extra for an iPhone app. I'm pretty close to finishing up my testing, but DS is just starting and has an iPhone too. I would gladly pay for his app
Maybe a couple bucks to DL the app plus of course the normal monthly fee? Ha ha you can tell I have NO idea what would go into development of such an app. Sooo easy to suggest this not being an IT person.

What they could do much easier than build a full blown app which requires objective C and a mac and a dedicated developer for the iPad/iPhone platform is to build a mobile site.
When your phone hits instantcert.com it will pass the browser settings in an http header, the main site will detect the mobile browser and redirect you to m.instantcert.com or something like that, the mobile version.
The mobile version will be built to work on a smaller screen and won't have scrolling issues. The links will be easier to click and fewer in number.
They can use their existing HTML developers to build the mobile site and it will end the frustrations for all of us.
