Humanities CLEP Question
#61
barenfang Wrote:Ponygirl93,
I took the Humanities CLEP today and passed with a 58! Not the best score, but with only studying for three weeks on a subject I knew very little about I would say that is great. Your notes along with the material from Instacert was a big help. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Woot!! Congrats!!!! :hurray:

I passed Humanities w/ a 60 and have now completed my 4 yr degree! If you e-mail me, I am willing to share Word & Excel docs that I created for this class. Kelli_williams@wavecable.com.

My advice:
1) Be prepared to read poetry or literature excerpts & then match it to the correct author. Be familiar w/ Shakespeare, Chaucer, & Emily Dickens.
2) Expect groups of three authors, painters, sculptors, etc. and be prepared to match the group to a specific period of time.
3) Be prepared to interpret poetry & identify similes.
4) The music questions were much more basic than what I studied.
5) Be familiar with Shakespeare's great works and know the characters.

only 3 weeks of studying??? I haven't scheduled a date yet but I'm currently taking a class and trying to study for Humanities. I just don't know what to do? Break each part down and individually research each one? If you have the time to send me your study guides or any ideas my email is gracie.l.morris@gmail.com

thanks
