Yes it is all multiple choice, and with proper study anyone can pass. If you are a paying member check out specific exam feedback section. If not, search "psychology clep"

It's all multiple choice. Whether or not you pass depends on how well you prepare, which you should do even if you did take a high school course in it.

Best study material you can find anywhere is at your local library. I am currently using Harper Collins College Outline. It is amazing! 250 pages jam-packed of everything that you would ever learn in a psych 101 course without too much fluff to drag out your study time.

Also check out Free Clep Prep.com for online study and links to how you can get three FREE practice tests. These will help you to see how much you still remember from high school and how much you still need to study.

Yeah, that's one misconception about CLEPs that I hate that does damage to their reputation (and sometimes to the people who take them). "Oh, its just a multiple choice test and you get 3-6 credits without doing any work to earn it."

Anyone here (especially on this forum) who's taken a CLEP knows that these things do take work to pass... Some of the tests may be 'easy', especially if you've had any background (professional/education/hobby) in it, but that's true of just about anything...

Can you pass them with a little bit of knowledge in the subject, knowledge of how to game standarized tests, and a lot of luck? Sure. But I'd like to see statistics on pass rates for this type of test taking.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

The one I'm using is from 1990 (from the library). Hopefully there is a newer version if you are planning on buying it. It takes the form a a large outline. That with Peterson's practice tests should be more than enough to pass (although, I haven't taken it yet, so we'll see how it goes Wink).
