I would have saved myself over 13 hours had I known that earlier. hilarious
I guess the practice wasn't bad anyway and i upped my assessment to 94%. It's just strange because ALEKS never gave any indication that the course was completed after the initial assessment. Thanks!
*Edit because I checked my assessment time.

Because ALEKS's internal programming has no knowledge of the ACE requirements for college credit. ALEKS was made to be utilized to 100% in the pie in its very nature. ACE came along afterwards and only required that you get 70% of the way through it for the accredited classes.
You gotta remember ALEKS is a tool developed for Homeschooling. ACE Accreditation of the classes for College Credit is just a bonus for them.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

TESC is calling all three stats duplicate credit- this hasn't been challenged, but hold tight if you were hoping for 6 credits from stats.

I know this question has already been answered in this thread, but I can't seem to find it. Does anybody know if the Aleks College Algebra course fulfills TESC's math requirement, or does it have to be Pre-cal or higher?

rut-ro. Write and ask, but someone might have changed this. Wayyy back when we first looked at this, I said it was going to be developmental, but we have had a lot of people get this written as 100 level. I'd hate to see it changed now- but it's certainly possible. With TESC, they are a little slow- remember they changed stats just a few months back too. I think the more they evaluate these, the more likely we are to see revisions.

Soup, you finished awhile back. Have you not submitted your transcript?
Sorry to hear the bad news Creationstory
Were you able to do MAT115 and/or MAT121?
Is this fair? How can you give to some but not others? I could stomache the stats is stats issue even though they were different level (I digress) but Beginning Algebra? Are they also going to disallow the college math clep? What the heck is going on? I wonder if its because the courses are not proctored? Do colleges do this sort of thing all the time? Giveth and taketh away with no explanation? ...times are continually a changing.:toetap:
